What is the Opportunity?
An exceptional opportunity now exists for an experienced Quality Regulatory Compliance & Health and Safety Manager, supporting the Arjo Australian and New Zealand business.


The role is responsible for ensuring that the Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Post Market requirements and Workplace Health and Safety requirements are implemented, current and monitored in Australia and New Zealand.


Though reporting directly to the Snr Director Quality and Regulatory Compliance, RoW, this role works in collaboration with the President SEAPAC and the General Manager New Zealand to define and implement QA strategies, promote quality in service delivery, continuous improvement, monitoring compliance, identifying and evaluating deficiencies, and minimizing business risk while operating within the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Quality Management Systems. 
This role is both challenging and exciting and provides the opportunity to build your capabilities further in a team delivering business results. 


Your role will involve:
•    Conducting various internal and external audits to ensure adherence to standards across the  board; 
•    Preparing the organisation for ISO external Audit and Accreditation meetings;
•    Ensure Management and staff are trained and fully understand their role in the quality management system;
•    Efficiently manage non-conformances within the business;
•    Maintaining and running HSE System, including but not limited to providing safe systems of work and injury management support to staff;
•    Implement Safety improvements, and drive a safety culture;
•    Identify trends and address safety concerns;
•    Manage Safety committee and facilitate meeting;
•    Conducting regular Safety & Quality audits and inspections;
•    Cyclical training of all staff and ensuring management and staff are trained and fully understand their role in quality management system;
•    Document and Data maintenance and control;
•    Compiling and conducting various reports for the leadership team;
•    Efficiently manager non-conformances within the business;
•    Keeping informed regarding pending or potential industry changes, best practises and assess the impact those changes could have on the organisational processes in place; 
•    Ensuring full compliance with OH&S Legislation and Company policies;


To be successful in this position, you will possess:
•    Bachelor’s degree discipline or equivalent three (3) years Quality Systems and Regulatory Affairs management in the medical devices or related industry;
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in a QSE role in an SME;
•    Qualifications and/or extensive experience in internal Auditing;
•    Proven experience of quality and regulatory systems;
•    Detailed knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO AS/NZS 9001, SOP124 ISO14001 and ISO45001;
•    Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows operating system and MS office applications;
•    Experience in leading a Quality & Regulatory Compliance team and participating as part of an organisations leadership team;
•    Experience in monitoring, reviewing and completing activities according to previously defined priorities; 
•    Ability to manage several projects;
•    Organisational skills;
•    Ability to work under pressure; 
•    Risk assessment and management;
•    Ability to motivate and influence people. Strong impact and presence;
