Position: Specialist Therapy Rentals Account Manager 
Location: Field based covering South East
Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week

The impact you will have
We have an opportunity for an experienced Medical Device Account Manager to join our West Region team selling Specialist Rental equipment into the acute and community sectors within the NHS, Private Hospitals and Equipment Loan Stores.
You will grow the Specialist Rental business, through excellent focus and product knowledge, customer centricity, teamwork and enthusiasm for the Arjo brand and products. You will be responsible for maximising revenue and margin growth in line with UK Rentals targets through motivation, drive and the ability to own your business.

 

Your Product Range:  Bariatric, Early Mobilisation, Critical Care and Patient Handling products

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Focus on introducing and growing specialist and ad hoc rental revenue through our range of Specialist products within the NHS and private sector target accounts.
  • Work co-dependently with the Specialist Rental Team to identify new opportunities for rentals and grow existing rental business.
  • Work towards signing rental agreements with NHS Trusts & Health Boards for Arjo Specialist products.
  • Grow and maintain a level of specialist clinical knowledge (e.g. ergonomic / tissue viability) in order to support specialists in the acute care sector and conduct assessments which are essential to meet contractual requirements in long-term care.
  • Promote the Arjo brand in a professional and energetic manner.
  • Maintain CRM as the business tool for all communication and account knowledge.
  • Set individual KPI’s for each targeted account and own the development and completion of these.
  • Embrace the Arjo culture and core values in daily working.
  • Able to work alone and under pressure.

 

Skills you will need:

  • Unrivalled knowledge of the application of Arjo and 1st Call products, their patient and staff benefits, clinically, outcome focused and financially.
  • High level of knowledge of the main competition to Arjo/1st Call, strong understanding of the rental market and the culture of the competing companies as well competitor products including their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Proven success in the Sales/Rental field with a customer and patient focus.
  • Experience of selling into the NHS is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of patient handling/patient assessment – advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook email
  • CRM experience, ability to use SFDC as working business tool.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Understanding of how to work in a confidential environment with high standards of professionalism and ethics in relation to personal information
  • Ability to proactively seek opportunities at Clinical level
  • Understanding of industry best practice

 

Please note:

  • You must be able to lift bulky bedframes and mattresses for prolonged periods.
  • Due to the nature of this role, it is required that you live within reasonable travelling distance from the core area of work.
  • IT: Must be have immediate level Microsoft Office skills namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • It is essential to have excellent written and spoken English
  • UK Requirements: Eligibility to work in the UK (essential)
  • Driving Licence: Required to hold a UK drivers licence
  • Travel: Ability to travel within the UK and abroad with overnight stays as and when required
  • Enhanced DBS clearance: Required at the cost of Arjo
