What is the Opportunity?

Our QRC/HSE Officer is about to go on parental leave, so we are looking for an experienced, professional and self-motivated QRC/HSE Officer to fill in while she is away.  We are currently predicting that this role will be 12 months, but that may change depending on her needs and with a commencement date around mid to end of February 2026.

The primary focus of the role is to ensure Arjo Australia achieves a high standard of quality, compliance and safety and is positioned to meet our statutory obligations and to maintain our Australian and International standards/accreditation particularly ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.

 

This role will be based in Eastern Creek, NSW reporting to our Quality Regulatory Compliance/HSE Manager, ANZ/SEA.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of management policies and procedures to meet the requirements of but not limited to, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
  • Document and maintain customer complaints into the global complaints handling system (TrackWise)
  • Assist with Internal Audits under the supervision of the lead auditor
  • Assist with compliance maintenance of a small manufacturing process.
  • Writing new key safety policies, procedures, SWMS or SOP’s and advise Staff, Supervisors and Managers on policy interpretation and application under direction of QRC/HSE Manager.
  • Compliance with all legislative requirements regarding health and safety.
  • Process Worker Compensation claims and assist with return to work programs.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Tertiary qualification, accredited course in Quality management or OHS desirable.
  • 3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance environment.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant Australian and International standards particularly ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • Proven record of QMS and OHS management.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, with advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
  • Internal Auditors Qualification desirable
