We’re currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our NSW Service Team, based in Coffs Harbour/Port Macquarie. In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment, as well as a range of third-party items, across aged care and acute care environments. Your work will ensure equipment is safe and functional for caregivers and patients, and your positive, can-do attitude will help us continue delivering exceptional service to our customers.
The role will involve:
• Carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo’s range of products (medical equipment) as well as a range of related third-party equipment
• Conduct routine scheduled servicing; (Preventative) and breakdown support (Reactive)
• Promoting Arjo services and Service contracts to customers in regional NSW;
• Take a lead in pursuing regional business and work with any other technician that has moved into regional NSW to secure new business;
• Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames;
• Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in Arjo’s service ERP system;
• Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately in Arjo’s service ERP system;
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy;
• The Service Technician role may require further regional NSW travel within the Western NSW area, to meet the needs of our large and growing customer base.
Skills and Experience:
• Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude;
• 2-5 years’ relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service related sector;
• Proven problem solving ability and troubleshooting skills ;
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service;
• Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet company performance targets/KPIs;
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well presented, confident and exhibit sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments;
• The ability to understand the customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit;
• Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools and test/inspection equipment;
• Computer literacy. iPad use familiarity will be advantageous;
• The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;
• A current NSW driver's licence (Class C) is essential;
• Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you are encouraged to have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a current influenza vaccination.
