Installation Project Manager -- Ceiling Lift

Job Functions: 

•    Heavy administrative functions tracking and reporting on a large number of  projects at varios stages in development 
•    Confirms ceiling lift assessments for accuracy of all facilities in territory.
•    Manage ceiling lift project installations, responsible to coordinate the daily activities/schedules of installers and/or local team
•    Must be capable to proficiently communicate verbally and in writing the current status of projects to sales, service management and customers. 
•    Responsible for working with CL project teams to ensure project installation schedule and deadlines are met. 
•    Interacts/communicates with onsite hospital administrators, nursing directors, nursing home owners, contractors, architects, and equipment planners, project managers, on project status, schedule timelines and updates.
•    Responsible for ensuring that the regional installations for Ceiling Lift Products is met.
•    Develop relationships with RSD’s, TSM’s in conjunction with projects within designated region. 
•    Works with IPM’s to review all quotes for territory and individuals including drawings etc.
•    Prepares and submits to the NIM complete, accurate and timely installation reports including Monthly Activity Review, Weekly Schedule Itinerary, and Expense Reports.
•    Acquires and continually upgrades knowledge regarding installation, the features, benefits and application of Arjo Inc. equipment.
•    Attend regular meetings and update the NIM and IPMs.
•    Any other reasonable request as designated by the NIM.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate professionally to senior level management.
•    Intimately familiar with Arjo’s CL installation methods, capable of being certified as a field installation trainer under Arjo’s the train the trainer program.
•    Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
•    Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Quick Base etc.)
•    Must be able to interpret and manipulate CAD, PDF drawings, software programs, technical manuals, and written correspondence.
•    Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required. 

 

Minimum Requirements:  
•    Bachelor’s degree is desired but not required. Direct medical equipment installation experience can be substituted for education; Five (5) to ten (10) years direct hands on medical equipment installation and coordination experience can be substituted for the right candidate. 
•    Recent experience with capital equipment installation, preferably in the healthcare industry.
•    Construction Project management experience is a plus. 
•    Advanced training and/or work experience in healthcare industry operations, organization, and installation processes
•    Have current OSHA 30hour safety card or able to obtain within 6 months of being in this role.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:  
•    Able to work in a construction type environment and observe all PPE requirements and safety training.
•    Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions.
•    Travel requirement of approximately 25%-50%, which may include international travel. 
•    Ability to travel by car or public transportation as needed to meet business needs.
•    May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
•    The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (*NOTE* Field Sales & Clinical: 35 lbs.) 
•    Ability to utilize computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments.
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, climb ladder, walk and sit.
•    The employee must have use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear.
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
