The Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing data reports, dashboards, and analytical insights that support business decision‑making. This role works closely with cross‑functional partners to understand reporting needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver accurate, timely, and actionable data solutions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
Key Day-to-Day Activities:
- Partner with commercial leaders to understand needs of the business. Present new solutions to the leadership team
- Create and standardize sales reporting processes to align with business needs and to improve availability and interpretation of sales data, with an emphasis on providing value-added recommendations to improve business performance.
- Create standardized and ad-hoc reports to support the Sales team.
- Manage field inquiries regarding performance, historical sales trends, account/product level detail, etc.
- Create and document formalized processes to coach the sales team toward consistent best practices.
- Engage in process improvement and development projects to maintain business efficiency and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Sales Analyst, Finance or Data Analyst. Medical Device or Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a must.
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, presentation.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with databases, reporting tools/systems, ERP systems. (Power BI preferred)
