As we continue to expand, we’re excited to introduce a newly created role within our organisation: Assistant Technical Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled technical professional to join our high-performing Service Team and contribute to our mission of empowering mobility in healthcare.

 

In this pivotal role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our maintenance services, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality service to our customers. Your efforts will help uphold our standards of excellence and drive continuous improvement across our service delivery.

Most importantly, your work will have a direct and meaningful impact—enhancing the mobility and quality of life for residents, patients, and caregivers alike.
 
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
•    Monitor and report on the quality of service provided by the service engineer to our customers.
•    Ensure that the maintenance service providing is fulfilling the contract requirement and standards.
•    Organize regular technical training and assessment to service engineer.
•    Follow-up and check for the root causes of outstanding repair work orders. 
•    Provide emergency inspection and assessment for reported incident cases.
•    Assist with implementing the preventive maintenance program to customer, to ensure schedule is adhered to and report submission are in timely manner.
•    Prepare regular service performance report and present to customer.
•    Provide valuable suggestions for the improvement of the service organisation.
 
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should have:
•    Holder of degree in Biomedical/Medical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
•    Experience in hospitals or medical equipment repairing is a definite advantage.
•    Excellent technical knowledge, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
•    The ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
•    Analytical skills for reviewing and identifying key actions to drive continuous improvements.
•    A passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service.
•    Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Adherence to OH&S guidelines, including infection control policies.
•    The ability to work independently within a team environment.
•    A professional appearance aligned with the company’s brand and guiding principles.
