Opportunity Overview

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Engineer to join our passionate, highly driven, and successful Service Team.

 

As a Service Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products on-site within care facilities.

 

Your work will directly impact the quality of life for residents, patients, and caregivers by enabling movement and enhancing mobility.

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and testing of Arjo’s range of medical equipment.
  • Conduct routine scheduled servicing (both preventative and reactive).
  • Ensure systems are installed to full working capacity, and operators are informed about operating and emergency procedures.
  • Provide technical solutions professionally and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts in the service ERP system.
  • Uphold safety and integrity standards for all serviced products in accordance with company policies.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • A diploma or above in Mechanical and/or Electronics.
  • Field experience, preferably within the healthcare or service-related sector.
  • The ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Analytical skills for reviewing and identifying key actions to drive continuous improvements.
  • A passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Adherence to OH&S guidelines, including infection control policies.
  • The ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • A professional appearance aligned with the company’s brand and guiding principles.
  • A valid driver’s license (an advantage).
