Accounts Payable Assistant

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and keen to build your finance career within a supportive Accounts Payable team? We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join Arjo’s Finance team in Luton, providing accurate day-to-day administration support and helping to ensure supplier accounts, invoices and queries are managed efficiently.

About the role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will support the Accounts Payable team with a range of administrative and finance-related tasks. This will include processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, managing vendor accounts and responding to internal and external queries by phone and email.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide accurate administrative support to the Accounts Payable team.
  • Manage your own vendor accounts, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Support the timely and accurate resolution of internal and external stakeholder queries.
  • Build positive working relationships with teams across the business.
  • Assist with the expense management system and related administration.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all finance administration.

About you

We are looking for someone who is personable, articulate and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders. You will be proactive, solution-focused and willing to learn, with strong numerical skills and a natural willingness to help others.
