Position: Senior Electronics Engineer
Location: Komorniki/Poznań
Company: Arjohuntleigh Polska sp. z o.o.
Type of work: Full-time
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Schematics design and component selection
- PCB CAD drawing creation, update, and release
- Proof-of-concept and reference design builds
- Test and certification with internal and external partners for EMC and electrical safety
- Planning, execution and documentation of designs and tests according to standardized process
- Production continuity support
- Product risk analysis for electronics and software systems
- Analysis of change requests, trouble reports and claims
- Investigate root causes and develop corrective and preventive actions
- Design improvements and component obsolesence handling
- Create and improve development and test tools/equipment
- Take the role of Subject Matter Expert and perform process audits
Skills and experience you will need for this position:
- A Bachelor’s degree within Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with electrical and electronics design, for instance motor control, sensors, displays, weighing devices, and/or wired and wireless communications
- Good knowledge of electronics design methodologies and PCB design for different applications
- Good knowledge of electronics and electrical systems design including interfaces, cabling, and communication buses
- Good knowledge of lab work and prototype builds.
- Experience with EMC testing and certification
- Experience with product manufacturing processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with electronics CAD systems, preferably Altium, is a strong merit
- Experience from medical device development according to ISO 13485 or other regulated business is a merit
- Experience with medical electrical safety standard IEC 60601-1 is a merit
- Familiarity with IEC 62304 SW development life cycle is a merit
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- You are self-motivated with “can-do” attitude and high levels of energy an motivation
- You appreciate system complexity and co-design of electronics, mechanics, and software
- This position requires international travel
