Global Procurement at ARJO oversees all activities and expenditures within our global supply chain, including components, raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, and third-party items. Our goal is to maintain the industry’s most responsible, agile, cost-efficient, safe, and compliant supplier base through strong partnerships and shared risk-taking, ultimately creating a more efficient and resilient supply chain that adapts to the dynamic demands of the global economy. 

 

What is the opportunity?    

We are now looking for a Category Manager Plastics who can be a part of our success! 

 

As a Category Manager you are a key member of the Plastic team.  Your mission is to develop and implement a strategy that is aligned with financial objectives of Arjo Global Supply Chain. You´ll leverage your knowledge about the market for the area of Plastics. 

   

As Category Manager Plastics you will be responsible for: 

  • Development and implementation of global sourcing strategy for Plastics category 

  • Management of strategic suppliers located in Europe and/or outside of Europe upon request 

  • Creating the development roadmaps based on identified risks and opportunities 

  • Daily collaboration with strategic sourcing teams in Poland, China and Canada 

  • Leading global sourcing projects (RFI and RFQ / TCO cost-down development) 

  • Collaboration with R&D centers enabling the development of competitive new products portfolio 

  

Skills you will need: 

  • Ability to lead multinational teams in dedicated projects 

  • Coach and share knowledge and expertise with others 

  • Find business opportunities, organize and drive the agenda 

  • Build and maintain good relations cross organization 

  • At least 5 years professional experience in procurement with global scope, while 2-3 years of category management (knowledge of toolbox, cost models) 

  • Proven track of records in Sourcing / Negotiations / Contract management 

  • Bachelor degree or equal / preferred Business 

  • Fluent in English 

 

Industry knowledge: market, material, production process will be the additional asset
