Position: Strategic Sourcing Manager – Supplier C

The impact you will have

Global Procurement at ARJO oversees all activities, quality and expenditures within our global supply chain, including components, raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, and third-party items. Our goal is to maintain high quality and the industry’s most responsible, agile, cost-efficient, safe, and compliant supplier base through strong partnerships and shared risk-taking, ultimately creating a more efficient and resilient supply chain that adapts to the dynamic demands of the global economy.

We are now looking for a new colleague for Arjo Procurement and reporting to the Director Procurement Excellence.

 

As Strategic Sourcing Manager for Supplier C you will

 

  • Execute sourcing activities for long tail suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers to support cost optimization and value creation
  • Support basic contract management, primarily handling simple agreements such as blanket orders and ensuring they remain valid and compliant throughout their lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update supplier data in procurement systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Manage supplier relationships with a focus on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier base rationalization, and process optimization within the P2P cycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies support business objectives.

 

The skills you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related fields
  • Min. of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in procurement or sourcing
  • Advanced English language skills (B2/C1), both written and verbal
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
