Global Procurement at ARJO oversees all activities, quality and expenditures within our global supply chain, including components, raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, and third-party items. Our goal is to maintain high quality and the industry’s most responsible, agile, cost-efficient, safe, and compliant supplier base through strong partnerships and shared risk-taking, ultimately creating a more efficient and resilient supply chain that adapts to the dynamic demands of the global economy. 

 

 

As Supplier Quality Development Manager, you will be responsible for: 

  • Lead, coach and teach others on the appropriate usage of PQ and Technical Review with supplier in cooperation with the R&D and Engineering department  

  • Lead, coach and teach others on the appropriate usage of PV for several categories. Establish PV protocols for new production processes. 

  • Lead QMS, Process and Sustainability Audits on all types of suppliers including new suppliers, 

  • Implement supplier development programs through global production process standards and best practices. Acts as mentor and advisor to enhance supplier production processes knowledge within the organization. 

  • Drives improvements in supplier performance management processes including Key Performance Indicators, Lean Management, and Capacity management. Incorporates aspects like innovation and long-term value creation. Build strong, collaborative relationships. 

  • Lead relationship management initiatives in procurement, develop and implement relationship management strategies, manage complex negotiations, and resolve high-stakes conflicts. 

 

Skills you will need: 

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering, quality management, or a relevant field within the Category  

  • Demonstrated work experience in a technical role within the Category, with a focus on driving quality and process improvements. 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of global material standards and advanced technologies within Category. Influences organizational strategy regarding materials and technologies. Acts as mentor and advisor to enhance material and technology knowledge within the organization. 

  • Deep understanding of procurement processes and analytics. Can analyze highly complex data. Capable of leading analytical initiatives in procurement, evaluating and implementing new analytical tools and optimizing the use of existing tools.  

  • Can understand and convey extremely complex or nuanced information.  Ability to facilitate high-level discussions, write influential messages, and understand and convey implicit and nuanced meanings in communication. 

  • Can reasonably apply opportunities of cost reduction through a clear understanding of cost and cause and effect of commodity and/or supplier changes 

  • Six Sigma Certification or equivalent certification of quality management is preferred. 

  • Build and maintain good relations cross organization 

  • Advanced level in English language skills, both written and verbal.
