Position: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Komorniki, Poznań
Job type: Full time
As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Close collaboraton with R&D - proactive participating in NPD/transfer projects to support on design for manufacturing solutions in terms of technology, materials, process, etc.
- Business Review with supplier and perform Supplier Development for meet Arjo needs
- Identify cost optimization initiatives
- Qualification of new suppliers and their onboarding in accordance with Arjo standards and requirements
- Conducting system and production process audits at suppliers' sites
- Conducting technical reviews with suppliers in cooperation with the R&D and Engineering department as part of the new product launch and production transfers
- Qualification of production components provided by the suppliers
- Suppliers performance monitoring and evaluations; being responsible for quality indicators related to the supply chain
- Creating inspection criteria for incoming inspection
- Continuous improvement of the quality of delivered components and processes at suppliers, execution and supervision over corrective and preventive actions, and other development activities/ optimization projects at suppliers
- Building requirements for preferred suppliers to establish assessment criteria, fact based supplier selection and identification of risks
Skills you will need:
- Higher education - technical or quality-oriented preferred
- Min. five years of professional experience in the same or similar position (e.g. product engineer, quality engineer) in a production company; Experience in Medical Device Industry is a plus
- Experience in working with electronics or electrical industry is an asset
- Experience in conducting supplier audits
- Understand nonconformance management and have practical knowledge of quality management tools, methods and techniques (PPAP, FMEA, CP, 8D, RCA, etc.)
- Ability to read technical documentation
- English language at min. B2
- Driving license B is a plus
- Willingness to make domestic and foreign business trips
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of the requirements of the ISO13485 standard; experience in the field of process validation is a plus
