Position: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Komorniki (near Poznań)
Employment Type: Full-time, hybrid model of working

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Close collaboration with R&D and Engineering, proactively supporting NPD and transfer projects through design‑for‑manufacturing solutions related to technology, materials, and processes.
- Leading supplier qualification and onboarding, including assessment of new suppliers and components in line with Arjo standards, requirements, and risk criteria.
- Driving supplier development and business reviews, ensuring suppliers meet Arjo’s quality, performance, and capability expectations.
- Monitoring and improving supplier performance, with accountability for supply chain‑related quality KPIs, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conducting supplier audits and technical reviews, including system audits, production process audits, and technical assessments during new product launches and production transfers.
- Ensuring quality of supplied components, including qualification of production parts, defining incoming inspection criteria, and maintaining robust quality controls.
- Identifying cost optimization and risk mitigation opportunities, supporting fact‑based supplier selection, preferred supplier requirements, and corrective and preventive actions at supplier sites.
Skills and experience you will need in this role:
- Higher education, preferably with a technical or quality‑oriented background.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role (e.g. Product Engineer, Quality Engineer) within a production environment; Medical Device industry experience is a plus.
- Experience in supplier audits and supplier quality management, including system and process audits at supplier sites.
- Strong knowledge of non‑conformance management and quality tools, such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, RCA, and related methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and specifications; experience in electronics or the electrical industry is an advantage.
- Good command of English (minimum B2), enabling effective communication in an international environment; willingness to travel domestically and internationally (driving license B is a plus).
- Familiarity with quality standards and tools, including ISO 13485 requirements, process validation (as an asset), and solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
