What is the opportunity?
We are now looking for an entry level Technical Writer to our manufacturing site in Komorniki. This is a real opportunity for an individual looking for a first step into Technical writing as a varied role where you have the possibility to interact with many different stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn product development and has the desire to learn expertise skills involving technical writing.

The Position
The purpose of the position is to create, revise, initiate and manage changes for labelling which fall under the ownership of Technical Publication, mainly focusing on:
- Instructions for Use (IFU),
- Quick Reference Guides (QRG),
- Product Labels,
- Service manuals
- Illustration creation
You will participate in New Product Development (NPD) projects, by developing and delivering labelling connected to the product while using creative skills in label development and illustrations. You will support labelling activities in engineering teams globally and be responsible for maintenance and life cycle management of labelling, for assigned product groups.
The position at the Arjo manufacturing site in Komorniki and you will be reporting to the Technical Publication Manager. Since you will be part of a global team, cross-collaboration and some international travel is part of the role. You can also work remotely (on selected days) or as per agreement.
To be a successful Technical Writer you are likely to be a self-motivated, proactive team player who likes to deliver results. You have a service-oriented attitude and the mentality of a doer. Other key factors to succeed in this role are capability of working in cross-functional teams, building strong partnerships, trust, commitment, managing multiple tasks and handle tight deadlines.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be to:
- Lead labelling activities / labelling projects that require cross-collaboration globally, making sure that they meet the Arjo requirements and standards.
- Create and modify graphics/illustrations for use in product labelling.
- Available for position to combine technical writing and illustration at approximately 50/50, with flexibility to adapt the balance according to project demand.
- Work according to agreed time plans and budgets.
- Work with Technical Publication Management, define/maintain/follow adequate department procedures that promote labelling accuracy, compliance and lean business practices in accordance with global regulatory and company standards.
- Follow and support the development of the Technical Publication and its regulatory requirements, processes, tools and guidelines.
- Proactively gather information from different stakeholders on a global level and transform information into text instructions.
- Collaborate editorial support and guidance to technical publication and project team members.
- Work both independently and in teams with a drive and open mind.
- Understand technical data and how things interconnect together.
We are looking for you to have the following background and experience:
- Technical degree in engineering / information technology / graphical design / technical communication degree.
- Ability to gather and analyse complex information and transform to simplified information.
- Transferable skills i.e. internship related to Technical Writing, Information technology or similar, working with design or projects. Graphical illustration skills is a major plus.
- Software application (preferred / willingness to learn): CCMS system, Adobe CC with focus on InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office.
- Excellent English skills, both orally and written.
- Demonstrates an open mindset and strong adaptability in dynamic, fast‑paced technical writing and illustration settings. Committed to continuous learning and growth.
