The Rental and Operations Assistant to work within and support the Rental and Operation structure. 

 

As the Rental and Operations Assistant you will be responsible for:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Fulfil deliveries to clients as per plan and hospital visits for the purposes of Installation/Cancellations of Rental mattresses.
  • Ensure Capital & Rental stock received & dispatched correctly as per delivery note and hospital requirement.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and Rental asset counts.
  • Cleaning and decontamination of used assets (Rental pumps and mattresses) using industrial washing machines and prescribed chemicals including Packing of assets which passed the tests
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment and includes readiness of Rental assets.
  • Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage and delays.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain Vehicle in a lawful manner and in accordance with Company Policies & Conduct routine maintenance checks.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle & clean products in accordance with Company Infection Control policy.
  • Ensure corrective PPE and clothing attire is used
  • Perform other relevant duties as requested.
  • Assist with other rental activities on the field and in the office when needed.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50kgs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Valid driver’s license and experience in driving
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays and Be available for 24 Hour call on a rostered basis or as instructed if required
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in using inventory/asset software tool.
  • Certification in forklift or other material-handling equipment operation.
