What is the Opportunity?

Due to recent growth in our New Zealand business, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Inside Sales Consultant here at Arjo, a Mobility Support Consultant with a highly driven and sales oriented attitude to join our successful Commercial Team, reporting to the Commercial Manager, based out of our Macquarie Park Office, in Sydney, NSW.

 

About the Role

The purpose of the role is to provide direct telephone sales calls to potential and existing Arjo customers across New Zealand. Coordination of inbound communication via the website and redirection of Sales Leads via Salesforce. Outbound sales will also be an important part of this role, to communicate with Arjo customers, provide support, and generate sales.

 

Arjo’s guiding principle of Empower and work as One Team, the Mobility Support Consultant works collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Project Sales and Aftermarket Team.

 

About You

If you have outbound or inbound call centre sales experience with a KPI focus and a “can do” attitude with the motivation to excel, then this role is for you. This is an autonomous role reporting to the Commercial Manager, which will give you the opportunity to make a difference and add direct value to both the top and bottom line sales results. Knowledge and or exposure to New Zealand geography and business would be an advantage but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotions

  • Create customer National contact list of our non-prioritized customers for the Promotion from Salesforce;
  • Allocate list between Account Managers or Territories in New Zealand; 
  • Research customer prior to phoning them – via SAP and Sales Force to ensure no recent purchases made, Salesforce to ensure no recent quotes;
  • Phone customer and advise of promotion, probe to uncover needs, if appropriate offer solution;
  • Depending on how sales call develops – close sale, provide quote, provide further information/brochures, redirect to Account Manager if demo required;

 

Web Leads / Conference Leads / Campaign Leads

  • Manage all inbound leads from Web, Conferences, Campaigns, Educational Seminars etc, either manage lead to qualification, opportunity creation in Prioritised accounts or allocate to Account Manager. 
  • Manage leads to qualification, opportunity and sale in all Non-prioritised accounts. The Account Manager may be engaged from time to time
  • Ensure that all your opportunities in Salesforce are up to date

 

Outbound customer engagement via phone of “warm leads”, opportunities for Non-prioritised accounts and assist with driving the contracted customers with special projects.

  • Research customer prior to phoning them – via SAP and Salesforce to ensure no recent purchases made, Salesforce to ensure no recent quotes;
  • Phone customer in response to ‘warm lead’, probe to uncover needs, if appropriate offer solution;
  • Depending on how sales call develops – close sale, provide quote, provide further information/brochures, redirect to Account Manager if demo required; and record results in Salesforce.

 

 Follow up on opens from marketing email campaigns

  • Receive list of ‘Opens’ from Marketing;
  • Contact / follow up to determine whether further information required;
  • Provide information required – quote, brochure, demo, in service, redirect.
