What is the Opportunity?
We have a exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Specialist to join our passionate, highly driven and NSW/ACT sales team.
The primary focus of the role is to sell and promote Arjo products & services to new and existing customers within the Acute and Aged Care Sector within the ACT, Southern NSW and Murrumbidgee LHD regions, including quarterly business reviews with corporate partners.
We are looking for a person to:
• Network widely with key opinion leaders throughout the Acute and Aged Care sector/facilities within the nominated territory of ACT, Southern NSW and Murrumbidgee LHDs,
• Lead the conversation with facility executives in order to identify, grow, develop and maintain key customer relationships.
• Identify new high-growth markets for new products;
• See your ideas in action, by developing a strategic plan and business strategies for new products.
• Explore new frontiers by identifying new revenue streams for existing product lines and lead annual market analysis by intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
• Grow, maintain, manage and retain existing rental and consumable accounts
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
• Minimum of 3 years of medical sales experience, preferably in the Aged Care sector.
• Tertiary qualifications in a healthcare discipline (Physio, OT or nursing background preferred but not essential).
• A growth mindset, a belief that you are in control of your own ability, and can learn and improve your personal and professional outcomes.
• Authentic and outstanding consultative selling and active listening abilities, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills across all potential customers in a facility including executive level customers
• An obvious passion for exceeding your customer's expectations
• A proven sales record and ability to meet quotas coupled with a strong desire to succeed with the ability to work collaboratively with both customers and colleagues
• A strong impact and presence with the ability to motivate and influence people all, with the ability to read body language, off authenic empathy and navigate challenging conversations by demonstrating bravey;
• A high level of confidence, persistence and comfort in the Acute and/or Aged Care setting, including executives within facilities.
• Local knowledge of the Acute and/or Aged Care market and established relationships with current and potential customers.
• Excellent organisational, time management, planning and analytical skills underpinned by personal accountability, drive and initiative.
• A high level of empathy and sensitivity to aged or disabled residents and staff in health and medical settings
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and experience with a CRM system – (Desirable Salesforce)
