Responsibilities and duties :

  • Participate  in the development of new patient lifts in accordance with the product development process (PDP) and regulatory requirements;
  • Collaborate with members of other departments to facilitate the transfer of new products into production;
  • Optimize and advise on assembly methods for new products;
  • Review drawings and technical specifications to ensure the feasibility of putting parts into production;
  • Liaise with parts suppliers regarding engineering requirements and specifications;
  • Approve the technical review of new products;
  • Contribute to the documentation review of new products;
  • Support the development and installation of production test benches;
  • Perform software validation on production test benches;
  • Support software validation of test benches at suppliers;
  • Develop documentation related to production launch projects.

 

Requirements :

  • University degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, combined with 5 years of experience related to the position in a manufacturing company or any relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes;
  • Knowledge of electronic component testing;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships;
  • Ability to solve complex problems and implement corrective actions;
  • Rigorous approach to documentation;
  • Ability to organize, plan, manage priorities, and communicate them;
  • Autonomy and ability to work in a team.

 

Language Requirements : 
This position requires an excellent command of French (level 5/5) and a strong proficiency in English (level 4/5). These skills are critical for effective collaboration with development teams and partners across various Arjo sites worldwide. English communication is essential for project coordination, adherence to international standards, and consultation of technical documentation, which is often available exclusively in English. Meeting these requirements ensures successful task execution in a global environment.
