As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Actively contributing to the H&S culture while being proactive in identifying and communicating issues;
  • Conducting workplace inspections, assessing risks, and recommending appropriate corrective measures;
  • Coordinating accident investigations and analyses, identifying root causes, and following up on corrective actions;
  • Delivering training, monitoring mandatory training requirements, and leading prevention activities;
  • Leading and participating in the H&S committee while fostering team engagement;
  • Monitoring H&S indicators and analyzing trends to advise on priorities and recommended actions;
  • Supporting technical teams in preventing emerging risks;
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S laws and standards, maintaining documentation, and representing the company with external agencies;
  • Coordinating emergency measures and organizing evacuation drills.
Profile sought:
  • Relevant education in the field (H&S, industrial hygiene, or equivalent) combined with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or any other similar experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze H&S risks and improvement opportunities;
  • Good knowledge of and ease with computer systems (Office Suite);
  • French proficiency (5/5), written and spoken;
  • Experience in a regulated environment (an asset);
  • Excellent time‑management skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and strong prioritization abilities;
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy;
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and tact in managing confidential situations;
  • Ability to speak with confidence and clarity in front of groups;
  • Ability to lead and mobilize stakeholders to carry out projects while demonstrating organization, positive influence, and persuasion;
  • Strong ability to quickly build professional relationships and create a climate conducive to open, trusting discussions.
