Position: Global Product and Solution Trainer
Location: Malmö
Job type: Fulltime, Permanent
Reporting to: Director Global Acadamy for Europe and Head of Government Affairs
 

Key Duties and Responsibilities
 

Training needs analysis and planning:

  • Analyzing training needs for the sales, clinical and marketing teams in collaboration with the Regional Academy Directors
  • Create the training plan in collaboration with the Regional Academy Director and Commercial leaders.


Creation of training materials and programs:

  • Creation and keeping training materials up to date
  • Develop hybrid training programs for global, regional and local needs
  • Support development of training materials for new products and solutions launches
  • Organize the training programs in collaboration with global training coordinators


Delivery and evaluation of training programs:

  • Deliver the full spectrum of training - presentations, coaching, mentoring and facilitation
  • Coaching and guidance for the sales teams according to plan (NOT replacing the role of the manager in coaching and development)
  • Ensure tracking and reporting of training and skills matrix
  • Own and manage the new hire product and solution training across borders
  • Ensure the use of best practices from members of the field & inside sales teams and regularly communicates them to the broader audience


Other:

  • Contribute to the development of global training strategy
  • Learning management system support
  • Create academy dashboards and reporting tools


Knowledge/Skills/Experience
 

  • 5+ years prior territory field sales/clinical experience
  • 2+ years prior sales management experience, preferably in medtech or pharma
  • Experience in training a Field Sales Force, preferably in medical device sales
  • Prior experience as a trainer in medical devices is a plus
  • Clinical education and practical experience is a plus
  • Train the trainers and coaching certifications are a plus


Personal Qualities
 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize frequently changing needs
  • Self starter and ability to work independently
  • Ability to be creative, write proficiently and use visual graphic design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with a variety of subjects
  • Demonstrated ability to create, develop and deliver training programs in any format needed
  • Skill in presentation, facilitation and coaching
  • Exceptional listening skills and the ability to problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Skilled in project management
  • Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude.
  • Work as a team player with employees at all levels


The role  will cover the needs in Europe as well as new markets and will require international travel for min 40% of the time.
