As a Group Business Controller at Arjo, you will play a key role in providing high-quality financial analysis for Group Management and to the Board of Directors. You will initiate and drive development initiatives primarily within the Group’s financial landscape, aiming at increasing efficiency and profitability.

About the Role

You will be part of a well-functioning and competent controlling team with deep knowledge of Arjo business and Arjo Group. The role has a global scope and works closely with finance teams across the Group as well as with other Group Finance functions.

You will take ownership of key financial processes including monthly/quarterly reporting, forecasting, and budget, while at the same time working closely with stakeholders to explain performance, validate data, and support decisions. You identify gaps, take initiative, and drive improvements in how financial information is produced and used.

The environment includes established processes and ways of working, with an ongoing focus on strengthening and modernizing reporting, tools, and data quality. You will play an active role in driving this development. A central part of the role is also to strengthen and further develop reporting structures, BI solutions, and financial data models to support more efficient and value-adding analysis across the Group.

You will work in a hybrid setup, with regular presence at the office close to Malmö Central Station and report to VP Corporate Control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis to Group Management, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders
  • Perform group-level business controlling across Arjo Group
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI reporting and dashboards to support financial analysis and decision-making

  • Drive and coordinate global processes for budgets and forecasts
  • Analyse financial performance, including margins, variances, and key drivers
  • Provide decision support through structured financial analysis
  • Validate financial data and ensure consistency across reporting
  • Represent Group Finance in the M&A council

About You

You structure your work, take ownership of deliverables, and follow through until tasks are completed. You enjoy collaborating with others while also working independently and taking ownership of your deliverables.

You use financial data to understand performance, explain business drivers, and support decision-making across the organization. You communicate clearly with stakeholders across functions and explain deviations, risks, and trade-offs in a structured way that supports decision-making.

You have a natural drive to improve ways of working, whether it relates to processes, tools, or data quality. You are comfortable questioning existing ways of working in a constructive and solution-oriented manner.

You combine a strong business understanding with an interest in how data, systems, and BI tools can improve reporting quality, efficiency, and insights.
