Position: Usability & Design Validation Engineer, Entry Level

The impact you will have:
As a Usability & Design Validation Engineer at Arjo, you’ll play a key role in making sure our products are safe, effective and intuitive for users. From early research to final design validation, you’ll help shape solutions that meet the real needs of patients and caregivers.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
· Support the development and management of user needs, use scenarios and task analyses.
· Identify use-related risks and contribute to strategies that reduce potential hazards.
· Partivipate in planning, performing and reporting usability studies to confirm product safety and effectiveness.
· Analyse user feedback and test data to provide clear input for design improvements.
· Perform design validation activities to ensure user needs are fully met.
· Collaborate closely with Design & Usability engineers and cross-functional teams in a global environment.
· Ensure compliance with IEC 62366 and FDA human factors guidance, maintaining the Usability File during product updates and new product development.
The skills you will need
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors Engineering or a related field
· At least 2 years of experience in medical devices or another regulated industry
· Familiarity with regulatory standards such as IEC 62366
· Previous healthcare experience is an advantage
· Strong communication, observational, planning and organizational skills
· Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
· Curiosity, empathy and a passion for improving user experiences in healthcare
