The Product Development and Engineering organization in Malmö is looking for a new manager to lead a technical team of electronics and software engineers. You will be part of a global management team spanning five development and engineering offices, and work throughout the product life cycle with the Hygiene, Disinfection and Medical Beds Product Category.

We are looking for a person to:
· Lead and supervise the electronics and software team within the Hygiene, Disinfection and Medical Beds Product Development and Engineering department;
· Ensure the team's professional development in order to manage the full product life cycle;
· Participate in various design reviews and evaluate proposed technical solutions;
· Monitor the technical skills of the department, identify needs and gaps and propose action plans to fill them;
· Collaborate with program and project managers to plan and staff deliveries in product development and maintenance
· Recruit and onboard new team members in partnership with HR;
· Direct the development and product maintenance work in accordance with Arjo’s development and technology strategies;
· Build and maintain communities of practice within the local and global technical team;
· Initiate and manage projects for development tools and methodology implementation;
· Participate in the growth and maintenance of the innovation ecosystem in Arjo;
· Together with Procurement, research and evaluate new subcontractors and suppliers
The skills you will need:
· University degree in electronics or software engineering or equivalent, combined with 5 to 8 years of experience in embedded systems development and/or maintenance.
· Experience of technical leadership in electronics and/or software engineering.
· Experience of product development and maintenance in a regulated business is a merit.
· Ability to manage and mobilize a team.
· Ability to keep a short-term and long-term, strategic and tactical vision.
· Ability to do team and project management/planning.
· Good analytical skills and ability to work in a team.
· Excellent communication skills in English
· Be able to travel occasionally
