The Equipment Associate is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, processing and quality control of medical equipment, products and bedding as well as troubleshooting equipment and making minor repairs to equipment using hand tools.
Based in Arjo's Hialeah service center, this position will play a key role in ensuring the company’s products are in compliance with infection control procedures set forth by the company in accordance with government regulations.
Day-to-Day Functions:
- Clean, disinfect, and process Arjo medical equipment using cleaners and solvents.
- Perform quality control checks of Arjo medical equipment and products.
- Troubleshoot equipment and make minor repairs using hand tools.
- Adhere to work and safety instructions, work scheduled shifts, and meet required performance standards.
- Works directly with the Operations team to ensure products are appropriately prepared for patient/customer use and within the designated time frame set forth by the company.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written communication).
- Demonstrated hands-on technical skills. Experience using hand tools to trouble shoot and perform minor repairs to product equipment is a plus.
- MUST be able to lift 55lbs and carry 50lbs.
