The impact you will have

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for activities related to the movement of goods both in and out of our Mississauga Distribution Centre.

As the Shipper/Receiver, you will:

• Shipping and Receiving, picking orders and stocking inventory
• Inventory control, cycle counting parts
• Proper processing, packaging, and labelling of inventory and customer order's
• Preparing bill of ladings through our Transportation Management System
• Establishing and maintaining reliable records in accordance with company procedures
• Operate a Raymond Reach to move, convey, or hoist products and pallets
• Where appropriate; open packages, remove products, and visually inspect for damage
• Be a steward of Health and Safety practices in the workplace
• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

• Highly advanced organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Working knowledge and understanding of quality management
• Current or prior forklift/Raymond reach experience
• Demonstrates excellent consistent communication to all team members and management
• Excellent knowledge of computerized environments applying variety of program skills.
• Efficient time management skills and the ability to meet prescribed deadlines.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
