Position: Director of Marketing

Location: Mississauga, ON

 

The impact you will have

Responsible for developing and leading the strategic direction and marketing plan across the business with allocated ownership of revenue contribution, focusing on strategy and measurement at an executive level. Ensures that the company's offerings, technology platforms, and product/solution positioning and performance are communicated effectively by understanding local industry dynamics and acting as a local liaison for business and strategy inputs as well as high-level upstream requirements.

 

As the Director of Marketing you will be responsible for:

  • Successfully deliver profitable performance through growth strategies like market expansion, product diversification, and customer targeting, by prioritizing PVM.
  • Oversee and track all marketing activities in alignment to the strategic marketing plan and in collaboration with relevant marketing and commercial stakeholders with focus on critical performance KPIs.
  • Regular analysis and reporting on the overall performance of marketing plan in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Direct and monitor the execution of the segment strategic marketing plans, including vision and performance outcomes.
  • Supports/oversees all commercial planning, including G2M plans, local pricing initiatives business cases and segment strategies.
  • Effective and timely interactions with Regional/Global stakeholders for up/downstream requirements.
  • Promote growth and development in a team of highly skilled marketing professionals by providing them with challenging opportunities

 

The skills you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years in strategic commercial role(s) with experience effectively leading people.
  • Active liaison &/or KOL liaison; networking with either established or developing social and private health care providers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Canadian market landscape; including all customer groups/ types of purchasing behaviour/governmental funding and any other influencing parties.
  • Evidence of strategic acumen with the ability to set strategic direction and think, design, create and execute comprehensive long-term strategic plans which have delivered demonstrable profitable revenue growth.    
  • Proficient in assessing data and market analytics to make objective decisions.
