What is the Opportunity?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic hands-on Service Technician to join our Service Team in Auckland. The role of the Service Technician is to undertake Preventive and Reactive maintenance of Medical Equipment for both our internal and external customers, quality assurance, installation and commissioning of the Arjo range of products and third party products supplied and supported by Arjo.

 

As an Arjo Technician, you will be expected to build relationships with key stakeholders and to ensure the Arjo Guiding Principles are embraced at all times.

 

Our products “Empower Movement” and you will find satisfaction in knowing the work you do makes a positive difference to Peoples’ lives. You will report directly to the National Aftermarket Manager but working with our locally based Auckland Service Technicians.

 

Your role will involve:

  • Carrying out installation, maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo range of products at customer facilities;
  • Maintaining the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy;
  • Installing systems to full working capacity and ensuring operators are aware of operating and emergency procedures;
  • Promoting Arjo services and Service contracts to customers;
  • Traveling around the North Island for servicing and installations will be required. Occasional travel may also be required throughout NZ;
  • This is a full time role and you will be provided with a Company Service vehicle, Mobile phone and Laptop.

 

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) or Electrical Service Technician (EST) qualification and EWRB registration;
  • Experience on construction sites and/or installation of equipment an advantage;
  • Problem solving and fault finding skills with a strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service;
  • A Clean Full Driver’s License and Good personal presentation;
  • The ability to work independently or in a team with good communication to both customers and colleagues.
