Role Purpose
To manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including quotation processing, procurement, logistics, and delivery, ensuring accurate costing, regulatory compliance, and timely fulfillment to achieve high customer satisfaction across domestic and international markets.
Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Supply Chain will manage end-to-end supply chain operations across the Middle East and India region, serving as the key point of contact between Sales, Service, and Factory teams. The role ensures timely and cost-effective order fulfillment by overseeing RFQ processing, costing, procurement, logistics, and delivery, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and commercial requirements. Additionally, the role focuses on efficient coordination, ERP data accuracy, and proactive resolution of supply chain issues to drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Sales and Service teams to process RFQs (Requests for Quotation) from customers.
- Perform costing analysis, including appropriate margin calculation for proposals and quotes.
- Raise purchase orders with the factory for procurement of goods as per customer orders.
- Knowledge of Material Data Management, including creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data across ERP systems.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of in-house manufactured products for accurate order execution.
- Oversee logistics activities from the factory to customer destinations in the Middle East and India.
- Ensure smooth processing of shipments, including handling of Letter of Credit and understanding regulatory compliance for cross-border transactions.
- Manage import clearance procedures in the destination countries in coordination with local CHA.
- Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction through proactive supply chain monitoring and communication.
- Raising Customer Complaints with factory for warranty/short shipments/Quality –etc.
Qualification-
- Bachelor's degree preferable in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and in-house product lifecycles.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping documentation & Trade.
Experience-
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain - Import/Exports& Purchase.
- Experience working in the Middle East and/or Indian markets.
- Strong knowledge of Letter of Credit, logistics operations, and import/export compliance.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems and basic financial calculations for costing.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
