We are seeking a dynamic National Projects Manager to lead the projects team and drive the successful delivery of major project initiatives across Australia while partnering closely with architects, builders, hospital executives, and internal teams to shape the future of healthcare environments.

About the Role
As the National Projects Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, national-level projects across Arjo’s medical device portfolio. This includes product rollouts, operational improvement programs, hospital/clinic implementations, compliance-driven initiatives, and process optimisation.
You will also drive early-stage project engagement within the Group 1 product portfolio working with planners, designers, and executive stakeholders to influence solution design and achieve successful specification and sales outcomes.
Leading a team of three project professionals, you will act as the central connection point between Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Field Service, Clinical teams, and global partners.
Industry experience in medical devices or healthcare is not essential. Your project management, stakeholder, and commercial acumen are what matter most.
Location - We are open to Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end delivery of national projects, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and compliance targets are met.
• Develop and manage national project plans, risk registers, budgets, and schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in project governance, frameworks, and reporting.
People Leadership
• Manage and develop the team of project professionals.
• Oversee resource planning, capability development, and performance management.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
• Partner closely with hospitals and healthcare organisations to ensure seamless project implementations.
• Coordinate site readiness, logistics, training, and compliance documentation.
• Serve as a key point of escalation and relationship owner for national customers.
Governance, Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure alignment with ISO 13485, TGA requirements, and Arjo’s Quality Management System.
• Build standardised reporting dashboards and track national performance metrics.
Business Development & Strategic Engagement
• Engage early with architects, planners, and builders in Greenfield/Brownfield developments.
• Drive specification of Arjo systems and oversee opportunity-to-delivery project lifecycles.
• Enhance customer relationships and contribute to brand visibility in the market.
What You’ll Bring.
Essential:
• 5+ years’ experience managing complex, multi-site or national projects.
• Strong leadership background, able to coach, influence and elevate team performance.
• Proven ability to drive project outcomes and commercial opportunities.
• Confident communicator with outstanding stakeholder and relationship building skills.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AIPM or similar) preferred.
• Strong financial oversight: budgets, schedules, pipelines, CRM and reporting.
Desirable:
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments is beneficial, but not essential, example understanding of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and TGA requirements.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, M3) and project tools (Smartsheet, MS Project).
• Strong relationship builder and communicator
• Strategic and solution-focused mindset
• High attention to detail with strong decision-making skills
• Thrives in fast-paced, complex environments.
