We are currently looking to employ an Operations & Data Analyst (Supply Chain Management). 

 

To support the Supply Chain and Operations functions by managing large datasets, maintaining and improving demand planning processes, supporting procurement and logistics activities, and driving the digital transformation of manual workflows. The role ensures data accuracy, efficient planning, and improved operational decision-making across the supply chain.

 

Key responsibilities (not limited to these)

  • Demand planning, supplier evaluation and management, ordering process handling, inventory management, logistics coordination, monitoring inbound shipments, risk identification, performance reporting, and supporting supplier relationship management.
  • Data extraction, cleaning, and consolidation from Sage X3 and Excel
  • Maintaining demand planning and reporting files
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency across datasets
  • Analysing approximately 2,500 SKUs
  • Supporting forecasting and stock planning
  • Identifying risks such as shortages, overstocking, and slow-moving inventory
  • Translating operational data into actionable insights
  • Preparing structured PowerPoint presentations
  • Raising purchase orders and tracking shipments
  • Following up with suppliers and freight forwarders
  • Managing logistics documentation (airway bills, bills of lading, delivery notes)
  • Coordinating with sales, finance, rentals, service, and other departments
  • Improving workflows and reducing manual tasks

 

Experience and qualifications

  • Qualification in Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
  • 3-6 years experience in supply chain operations, or data analysis
  • Experience with large datasets
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • ERP experience (Sage X3 preffered),
  • Power Query or Power BI advantageous
  • Understanding of supply chain fundamentals (Lead times, containers, Incoterms)
