We're looking for a motivated Laundry & Bench Technician to join our Operations team based in Rowville.

 

Whether you have experience repairing equipment, cleaning medical devices, or are simply keen to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

 

About the Role

This permanent full-time position involves cleaning, sanitising, testing and servicing medical equipment, including pressure care mattresses and pumps.

 

As a hands-on role, it is ideally suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality, and wants to make a positive difference in healthcare.

 

Working days will be Monday to Friday with a rotating weekend roster. Overtime rates apply.

Daily working hours are typically 6:00am to 2:00pm OR 7:30am to 3:30pm.

 

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this position, you may have experience in:

  • Equipment servicing or repairs
  • Medical equipment cleaning
  • Warehouse or operational environments
  • Infection control practices
  • VIC Test and Tag Certification preferred but not essential – training can be provided

You'll also:

  • Be comfortable using iPads and computer systems
  • Have strong time management skills
  • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Be comfortable working within a healthcare environment

 

No previous experience in all areas is required — training will be provided to the successful candidate.
