We are seeking a Melbourne-based Service Technician to become the primary service technician supporting a key customer portfolio and multiple sites across Melbourne's northern suburbs. You'll build trusted customer relationships while ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and fully operational.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll spend most of your time supporting a stable customer base within your territory, becoming the trusted face of Arjo across the region.


Candidates located within Melbourne's northern suburbs, including areas such as Epping, Craigieburn, Thomastown, Campbellfield, Broadmeadows, Preston and surrounding suburbs, will be well positioned for this role.

 

About the Role


As an Arjo Service Technician, you will apply your technical expertise to maintain, service and repair Arjo equipment and related products across customer sites. Working from a fully equipped company van, you'll develop strong customer relationships while delivering high-quality preventative maintenance, repairs and technical support.


Success in this role comes from building trusted customer relationships, responding proactively to service needs and ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and operational.


Key Responsibilities


•    Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and testing of Arjo equipment and related products
•    Diagnose faults and complete repairs onsite
•    Provide reactive breakdown support and troubleshooting
•    Act as the primary service contact for customers across Melbourne's northern suburbs
•    Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service experiences
•    Accurately document service activities using Arjo's service management systems
•    Manage van stock and spare parts inventory
•    Ensure all serviced equipment meets safety and compliance requirements
•    Work collaboratively with the wider Victorian Service Team
•    Identify opportunities to support customers with additional service solutions


About You


We're looking for a hands-on Service Technician who enjoys the variety of a field-based role, spending time on the road and working directly with customers at site. You'll thrive on solving technical challenges, building strong customer relationships and taking ownership of your territory while delivering exceptional service outcomes.


You may come from a background in:


•    Field Service
•    Mechanical Maintenance
•    Electrical or Electronics Service
•    Medical Devices
•    Healthcare Equipment
•    Mobility Equipment
•    Automotive Service
•    Industrial Equipment Maintenance


Healthcare or medical equipment experience is highly regarded but not essential. Full product training will be provided, and candidates from mechanical, electrical, automotive or field service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.


You'll also bring:


•    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent customer service and communication skills
•    The ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule
•    Experience using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment
•    Sound computer and mobile device skills
•    Strong organisational and time management skills
•    A current Victorian Driver Licence
