What is the Opportunity?

We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader who will help drive our vision “To be the most trusted partner in driving healthier outcomes for people facing mobility challenges”.

 

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to use your strong leadership and coaching skill to support our team of four Sales Specialists across Victoria and Tasmania, by driving a culture of being a high performing, collaborative and successful team.

 

You will lead by example to encourage growth and leadership, by constantly coaching and mentoring the team to drive results, as well as playing an active role with key customers in the field.

 

About The Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales – Australia, you will take full responsibility to empower, coach and drive our Victorian/Tasmanian Sales Team. This role will oversee the entire Victorian/Tasmanian Commercial success and associated growth targets, and will be instrumental in helping us to grow this business significantly over the next 3-5 years.  In doing so you will take an active, executive lead, in key accounts and corporate accounts. The existing business is of significant revenue and we are after a high performer to lead this important team.

 

About you

Our new State Manager will have a strong focus on results and team development, coupled with commercial capability and executive selling experience. Keen to be a part of the team and driving our business forward, as we execute our growth plans to capture significant market share. Ideally with a Sales Management background, and the commercial capability to lead and develop our business further.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower the sales team towards achieving its strategic objectives to achieve sales budgets and growth plans within the medical devices sector;
  • Experience in medical sales or similar experience selling direct into the Acute and Long Term care sectors;
  • Able to analyse sales data and communicate the outcomes to the sales team and management;
  • Ability to lead from the front to drive sales performance and identify new high-growth markets for new products;
  • Proven track record in driving commercial results through a sales team;
  • Passionate about continuous learning, fostering team culture & leadership;
  • Strong influential communicator with excellent customer service skills;
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to achieve;
  • An ability to build productive and professional relationships with customers;
  • Highly organised, attention to detail and comfortable with sales reporting;
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to deliver on the business plans.
