Job Purpose: Coordinate and implement Lean initiatives within the plant to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Provide support to project management activities as needed.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects.
- Ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent organizational time management and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (or equivalent).
- Experience with MS Project Software.
- English proficiency.
- This job will be based at Bajos de Haina, San Cristóbal, República Dominicana.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Project and Lean Manager, responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project or projects within the organization.
- Ensure that projects meet their objectives, stay within budgets, and meet all deadlines.
- In collaboration with Project and Lean Manager, support activities and deliverables to enable successful corporate performance and planning processes and initiatives.
- Lead and manage specific work streams within projects in collaboration with Project and Lean Manager.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
- Implement Lean tools and techniques to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Provide to the project manager regular reports on the progress of their assigned project.
- Monitor progress, update schedules, communicate status, facilitate meetings, and creating/following up on action registers.
- Be the voice of the customer internally, ensuring our customer’s needs are heard and being met.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, action registers, monitoring activities and tasks of the projects. Manage changes in scope.
- Escalate and communicate project issues and follow them through until they ae resolved.
- Be relentless and timely in addressing issues of missing information and verification of project status.
