Job Purpose: Coordinate and implement Lean initiatives within the plant to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Provide support to project management activities as needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects.
• Ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent organizational time management and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (or equivalent).
• Experience with MS Project Software.
• English proficiency.
• This job will be based at Bajos de Haina, San Cristóbal, República Dominicana.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Project and Lean Manager, responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project or projects within the organization.
• Ensure that projects meet their objectives, stay within budgets, and meet all deadlines.
• In collaboration with Project and Lean Manager, support activities and deliverables to enable successful corporate performance and planning processes and initiatives.
• Lead and manage specific work streams within projects in collaboration with Project and Lean Manager.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
• Implement Lean tools and techniques to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Provide to the project manager regular reports on the progress of their assigned project.
• Monitor progress, update schedules, communicate status, facilitate meetings, and creating/following up on action registers.
• Be the voice of the customer internally, ensuring our customer’s needs are heard and being met.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, action registers, monitoring activities and tasks of the projects. Manage changes in scope.
• Escalate and communicate project issues and follow them through until they ae resolved.
• Be relentless and timely in addressing issues of missing information and verification of project status.
