Arjo is seeking a Senior-level Manufacturing Engineer to support, develop, and implement processes for reprocessing medical devices.

In this role, you will work on-site in our new, state-of-art facility in Everett.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Implement new products for reprocessing
  • Support continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc)
  • Investigate and implement new technology
  • Write test plans, conducts tests, document results for verifications/validations
  • Develop work instructions to document manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot equipment and processes using root cause analysis tools
  • Update BOM’s/Routings as needed
  • Perform/manage Kaizen events, Lean initiatives, 5S, etc. to achieve production improvements
  • Study/R&D new technologies that may replace existing methods for improved efficiencies
  • Write feasibility documents to document potential advances from new technologies, e.g. automation, robotics, etc.
  • Manage new technology implementation as project leader

 

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing: Medical Device experience (or similar regulated industry) preferred
  • Thorough understanding of ISO 13485
  • Continuous Improvement (Lean, 6 Sigma, Kanban, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in occupational, ergonomic, and environmental matters as applied to manufacturing preferred
  • IT skills – ERP experience required, CAD experience (Solidworks preferred), MS Office proficiency
  • Data analysis, DoE, problem solving skills
  • Collaborative, team player with good communication skills
