Exciting Opportunity in Seoul: Purchasing, Ordering, and Distribution (POD) Coordinator

Are you a self-motivated individual with a knack for business operations?

We are seeking a dynamic Purchasing, Ordering, and Distribution (POD) Coordinator to join our team in Seoul. This role is pivotal in optimising our business processes and driving efficiency.

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a self-motivated POD coordinator, with an understanding of business operations to facilitate and optimise our business processes.

The POD’s duties will include engaging and analysing financial operations, approving orders and expenditure, mediating between staff and other executives, marketing and promoting the business. Your expertise in streamlining our business operations will help our organization thrive and maximize efficiency and profits.

Successful candidates must possess strong analytical skills, thrive under pressure, great people skills, and a strong aptitude for maths & statistics. Ultimately, the outstanding POD should integrate and streamline business activities, achieve business goals through set strategies, and have a positive impact on staff productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and efficient entry into the ERP system.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders to customers.
• Keep track of backorders.
• Process invoices and advise customers on shipment details.
• Manage purchasing and planning activities.
• Generate and manage Purchase Orders, ensuring timely product delivery.
• Prepare import documents and liaise with forwarders on shipping matters.
• Assist with customer queries and provide general support.
• Ensure timely payment of receivables by liaising with customers.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales and Finance teams to meet business objectives.
• Handle office administration duties.

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Preferably with accounting and finance experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong aptitude for math and statistics.
