What is the Opportunity?
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Service Engineer to join our dynamic and successful Service Team in our Singapore office.
Role Overview:
As a Service Engineer, reporting to the Senior Regional Service Manager, you will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products on-site within care facilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the optimal condition of mobility products and solutions, thereby enhancing the quality of life for residents, patients, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site inspections, corrective and preventive maintenance, and repair services for hospitals, nursing homes (aged care facilities), and home patients.
• Ensure accurate documentation of repairs, assessments, and preventive maintenance.
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls.
• Promote service contracts.
• Collaborate with users and departments to understand needs and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in line with company policy.
• Present yourself professionally and uphold the company's brand and guiding principles.
• Adhere to the company's OH&S guidelines, including infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent medical device related educational background are welcome to apply.
• IT network connectivity/integration experience
o Smart bed connectivity capability to allow the information/data from the bed to flow to EMR (electronic medical record) central dashboards for real-time display (wireless) Eg: HL7, Epic system…..etc
o Proven capability for smart bed data to integrate into unified communication platforms.
o Proven bed data integration capability to EHR system e.g. Epic system
• Technical background with knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous, energetic, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
• Field experience, preferably within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
