Position: Clinical Nurse Advisor
Location: Field based covering Kings Lynn/East Midlands
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

 

Arjo are a leading provider of managed service contracts for medical beds and pressure area care throughout the UK. We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, qualified nurse to join our successful team of Clinical Nurse Advisors who support our busy and expanding business.

 

The impact you will have
As a Clinical Nurse Advisor you will provide and support a care strategy specifically for equipment management and use in relation to pressure ulcer management, to facilitate the reduction of pressure ulcers and improvement through ensuring best practice principles are transmitted into working practice. 

 

Your responsibilities:   
•    To give advice and guidance on equipment selection 

•    Complete clinical ward walks to match equipment use to patient need
•    Provide in service product training programs
•    Provide customer education programs, forums and study days
•    Complete pressure ulcer prevalence surveys and outcome related planning and monitoring
•    Provide added reassurance and a commitment to improving both clinical and cost effectiveness for our contracted partners and their patients
•    Management and reporting of rental equipment
•    Key account management and cross functional working within all division of Arjo and with all external stakeholders


The skills you will need  

•    Experience of working within a healthcare environment is preferable
•    An understanding of business planning processes is desirable
•    Must be able to deal with customers confidently in a variety of situations e.g. demonstrations, presentations and ward visits etc.
•    Ability to have or develop negotiation and interpersonal skills to handle a range of customer contracts
•    Knowledge and understanding of current NHS and Private Hospital sector dynamics in the UK along with community nursery homes and hospices is desirable
•    Experience in wound care is desirable
•    Knowledge of Arjo products will be a distinct advantage
•    Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
•    Previous commercial sales / clinical experience is desirable
•    RGN or similar Professional Healthcare Qualification is preferable
•    Current NMC registration or other similar Professional Healthcare organisation is essential
•    Presentation skills preferable 
•    Must hold full valid UK drivers licence
•    Must be prepared to travel within the UK and abroad with overnight stays as and when required
•    Enhanced DBS clearance: Required at the cost of Arjo
