Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: Field-based - West and South-West London (Hammersmith, Brixton, Fulham, Putney, Shepherds Bush, Kensington and Chiswick)
Job type: Permanent, Full Time 
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4:30 pm & Friday 8.00 am - 4 pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch

The impact you will have

This exciting opportunity comes with full training and support, enabling you to carry out on-site servicing of our medical equipment, including beds, mattresses, couches, baths, trolleys and hoists.

This is a hands-on Field Service Engineer role, ideally suited to a mechanically minded, multi-skilled engineer with practical experience in mechanical maintenance, who enjoys working independently, problem solving, and delivering high-quality service to customers.

You will be joining a global market leader in the medical device industry and will become part of an expanding, well-established organisation. This role offers long-term career growth, responsibility, continuous learning and a strong introduction into the ever-developing medical technology sector.

The skills you will need

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Practical experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within a service, maintenance, engineering or technical environment
  • An understanding of electrical or mechanical engineering principles
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage your own workload
  • Strong time-management skills
  • A working knowledge of Health & Safety principles
  • Basic IT skills, including the ability to use an iPad for reporting and documentation
