Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: Field based - Twickenham - Stains - Heathrow

Job type: Permanent, Full Time - Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm Friday 8.30am - 4pm 

 

The impact you will have

This exciting opportunity will allow you to provide support and excellent after sales service to our customers in hospitals and care homes, with the maintenance and servicing of our medical equipment on site, including beds, mattresses, couches, baths, trolleys and hoists.

You will be joining a global market leading organization within the medical device industry and be part of an expanding global company.

The skills you will need:

You will have previous experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Have an understanding of electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to solve problems and seek solutions logically 
  • Good time management and work to deadlines 
  • A knowledge of the principles of Health and Safety
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to work with an iPad
  • Demonstrate compassion and dignity and maintain confidentiality
  • City and Guild/NTEC/ONC in mechancial or electrical engineering is desirable

  • Applicants must live within the customer area covered
  • A full and valid driving licence is required, as you will be required to drive a company van
