We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Installations Engineer to join our growing team, installing innovative healthcare equipment across hospitals, care homes, and healthcare facilities throughout the UK and Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling, and delivering high-quality installation projects that directly support healthcare professionals and patients.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Installations Engineer, you will be responsible for surveying, installing, and commissioning a range of Arjo equipment, including:

  • Ceiling hoists
  • Assisted bathing systems
  • Patient handling equipment
  • Other specialist healthcare solutions
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out installations safely, efficiently, and in line with Arjo procedures.
  • Liaising with customers to coordinate installation schedules and site requirements.
  • Completing all installation documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to support product and service improvements.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and company assets in excellent condition.
  • Supporting service, repair, retrofit, and upgrade projects when required.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual with:

Essential:

  • Electrical, Mechanical and/or Plumbing qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in an engineering installation or field-based role.
  • Knowledge of building and construction materials.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile technology.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good physical fitness and confidence working in demanding site environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the medical device, healthcare, or patient handling industry.
  • PASMA and IPAF certification.
  • Experience working at heights.
  • Experience using plant machinery, drilling, and cutting equipment.

Travel Requirements

This is a field-based role covering the South of England, with regular travel required. Occasional overnight stays and travel to sites across the UK, Ireland, and Isle of Man may be necessary.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, funded by Arjo.
