Position: Field Service Representative/Technician

Location: Paradise, NL
Job type: Fulltime

 

The impact you will have

 

The Field Service Representative/Technician is responsible the delivery/pick up, maintenance and cleaning of Arjo owned medical equipment that is used on rental basis as well as for the repair/maintenance of customer owned equipment in hospitals and nursing homes.

 

This position will involve local driving to medical facilities using company vehicles as well as occasional support of other service/rental territories

 

You will be responsible for:

 

Technician functions include the following:

  • Schedule and provide preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.
  • Supervise equipment installation and/or perform uncrate and assembly services
  • Instruct customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
  • Maintain an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle

 

Representative functions include the following:

  • Prepare medical equipment and documentation for delivery
  • Load and unload medical equipment
  • Drive a van to make deliveries and pick-ups
  • Process delivery and pick-up documentation as required
  • Clean and disinfect medical equipment to quality standards

 

The skills you will need

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of face to face technical customer service experience
  • A clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work with solvents and cleaners to disinfect products in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, including evening, weekends, and statutory holidays, and on call.
