Purpose
The Electronics & Software Intern supports research, design, development, and maintenance of medical devices and accessories under supervision, gaining hands-on experience throughout the product life cycle.
Maintain
- Support troubleshooting and basic analysis of production or field issues
- Assist in handling change requests, reports, or basic CAPA-related tasks
- Support documentation updates and lifecycle activities
- Contribute to maintaining product continuity under guidance
QMS and Documentation
- Follow the Arjo Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines
- Assist in preparing and updating engineering documentation
Quality and Compliance

Support execution of tests to verify product quality and compliance

Assist in preparing test setups and recording results

Contribute to documentation for traceability and verification

Participate in reviews and audits as required (as observer or contributor)
Culture and Values
- Actively participate in team collaboration and learning activities
- Support team development across local and global teams
Communication
- Collaborate with team members and support communication with stakeholders
- Assist in responding to basic product-related questions
Other Tasks Assigned
- Support additional tasks and activities based on team needs
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

Basic understanding of electronics or embedded systems (academic level acceptable)

Familiar with basic programming (e.g., C, Python or similar)

Basic knowledge of schematic and PCB concepts

Familiarity with tools such as Altium, PADS, or similar is a plus
-
Exposure to embedded software (e.g., C, ARM) is an advantage but not required
General Competencies
- Structured and curious mindset with willingness to learn
- Basic problem-solving ability
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment, including cross-cultural collaboration
