What is the Opportunity?
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing marketing strategies within the organization. You will assist the Japanese marketing teams in all aspects of marketing operations, including campaign development, content creation, social media management, communication, documentation, compliance, and process improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with Global Marketing teams to ensure local insights contribute to global marketing projects and strategies. Your responsibilities will also include developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels, managing and updating marketing materials and documentation, conducting market research to gather data and insights, monitoring and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns, and supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing operations.
We are looking for a person to:
・ Create, develop, and manage the marketing engagement strategy within relevant product categories to increase market share and contribute to the overall financial ambition of the business.
・ Perform all marketing activities in accordance with the strategic marketing plan and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
・ Deliver profitable growth by consistently increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving marketing operations.
・ Contribute to the identification, development, and promotion of competitive advantages supporting the tactical management of wider marketing solutions.
・ Achieve annual team and individual numerical targets related to marketing performance.
・ Support commercial teams with customer-facing activities, including training (internal and external).
・ Translate marketing strategy into detailed tactical plans supporting segment strategic marketing plans and overall commercial success.
・ Create marketing planning documents such as business cases, launch plans, and marketing development plans.
・ Collaborate closely with global and local stakeholders in the development, quality review, and implementation of marketing solutions.
The skills you will need:
・ Detailed in-market customer and competitor insights related to marketing operations.
・ Deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, with experience in customer discovery to build strong marketing solutions and positioning.
・ Ability to ensure key marketing staff are well-trained and confident in managing marketing operations.
・ Passion for marketing and the capacity to quickly absorb information related to marketing processes and systems.
・ Strong support for commercial and marketing teams with high-level and frequent customer engagement.
・ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
・ Experience in relevant marketing management, brand management, or operations management roles within a healthcare environment.
・ Ability to handle light physical manipulation and maintain safety standards.
