Medical Equipment Repair Technician -- Pittston, PA

Arjo is seeking a Medical Equipment Repair Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo medical equipment. This role requires an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and experience with the tools and processes required to complete the work.   

You will spend most of your time working on Arjo medical equipment in our Pittston service center….with some of your time traveling to other Arjo services centers in the area.

An Arjo vehicle will be provided and all travel paid by the company.  Expected overnight travel is approximately 10%.  

Day-to-day functions include the following:

• Preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades at the Pittston Service Center.
• Occasional on-site repairs at customer locations (hospitals).
• Ensure reports are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.
• Manage local and van spare parts inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.  Experience with medical equipment a plus.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly, repair or maintenance training and/or certifications preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Approximately 10% overnight travel.
• Ability to move medical equipment, including ability to lift to 30 pounds and push/pull heavy objects using up to 70 pounds of force.
